Personal centered care...

Rosebank Care Home provides a range of care services to those clients with learning disabilities.  Care services are provided to adults from 18 years+.  Typical clients care needs may involve bipolar disorder, downs syndrome, dementia, or those having suffered a stroke or cerebral injury.  They may also have a form of anxiety or an autistic disorder. Equally, a resident may display some mild challenging behaviour that require additional support.  All our residents are cared for deeply and individually assessed to ensure they have the correct care package of support.

Rosebank Care Home Services
Respite care services - designed to provide families and relatives with a well needed break from caring for their loved one.  Potential respite clients are encouraged to visit before to enjoy an activity afternoon with the other residents, meal time, or, in some circumstances, a night stay. 

Emergency Care Stay
Rosebank is there to assist in the event of an emergency.  Ideal for those who might have stayed as a respite care client, but equally, Rosebank Care Home can deal with short term urgent emergencies. 

Long Term Residential Stay
Many of our residents have been with Rosebank for many many years.  This is an indication of the quality of our care and satisfaction of our residents relatives.  It is a loving, stable and nurturing environment.  It is their home and and they become part of the Rosebank family.  Like all families, residents do fall out, but all issues are directly and sensitively handled. 

Rosebank Day Care
Rosebank provides day care activity facilities.  This includes a collection services for local day clients.  Clients enjoy the very best of day care facilities,  during the day residents enjoy the highest quality meals and well organised activities.  Programmed day trips are also arranged during these day care sessions.

Rosebank Transitional Care - ‘Bridging the care gap’
Some clients are between care providers.  Ideal clients are those who are leaving care in their own environment and moving to sheltered care with intermediate care support. To assist them at this vulnerable time, Rosebank is the ideal place providing the following helping hand to gain their confidence before they enter supported living.

  • Financial management
  • Daily routine management
  • Basic cooking coaching
  • Shopping support
  • Hygiene management / clothes washing

Family Home Help Services. Rosebank also offers an outstanding learning disabilities domiciliary family support services. This support is ideal for those families who still provide close home care to their own child or relative.  Support within the family environment includes:

  • One to one care support
  • Daily client trips out, walks and activities
  • Assistance at meal times
  • Personal care
  • Activity engagement and planning
