Rosebank Care Home

because we care...

Rosebank Care Home is a delightful 17 bed residential care home for those with learning disabilities. Established for over 25 years and fully compliant with the Care Quality Commission, we are passionately proud of our quality of care, for which we are independently rated 5 stars.  Rosebank is the leading residential care home for learning disabilities across North West; Southport, Preston, Lancashire, Liverpool, Wirral and Manchester. Located in Southport, Merseyside, Rosebank Care Home is situated within a beautifully converted, warm and homely, Edwardian detached home surrounded by fabulous grounds.

Rosebank is owned and managed by Jonathan and Joanne Cunningham, a husband and wife team, with years of experience in care delivery, particularly concerning the learning disability sector. The home was originally inherited from Jonathan's father, Gerard, in 2007. The management of Rosebank was then shared with his brother, Alistair. Together, using initiative and a family-like approach, these two brothers transformed Rosebank from an average learning disability home to one of the most impressive, leading homes for those with learning disabilities. Now, Jonathan and Joanne use this foundation to continue running Rosebank and to also continue delivering the great services that the home has to offer. It is more of a family operation than your standard care home.

As a result, Rosebank residents quickly become part of the family. Rosebank residents enjoy a calm and active environment, therefore the home is not for those with overtly challenging behaviours. This ensures that all residents take part in a stable, predictable and calm routine.

The Cunningham family have invested heavily in Rosebank in recent years, meaning that all residents can enjoy an active and fun-filled life. Residents enjoy regular trips in Rosebank's very own state of the art minibus - just an example of how it is ensured all residents are allowed the most engaging experiences.

Quarterly residents and relatives meetings ensure that you and your loved one has plenty of opportunity to provide comment and influence their lives. Socially, your loved one will be busy with many themed and special social entertainment nights across the annual social calendar.

Life is for living - Rosebank Care Home - providing care beyond your expectations!
